MARSHALL FIELD CLOCK. State at Randolph
Turn of the Century Architecture (that's the turn of the
last
century) blurs the lines of Architecture, Ornament, and Sculpture. The Marshall Field Clock, designed by Peirce Anderson in 1902 is a perfect example.
.
I'll say this is "Sculpture."
Take a look at some of Peirce Anderson's Architecture at
Architecture at Architecture in the Loop.

It really is beautiful. I don't care what anyone says - it is still Marshall Fields to me.
